Fraud. How nice . . .

So we get a call from the friendly people at Discover and they say there is some suspicious activity on our card that we need to verify. I call them and go through a voice activated system of verifying some recent charges, except for one. We were charged $1.00 by a company called HDI Undergear. Should curiosity be boiling inside of you about what they do or sell, go here and you can see. How nice . . .

So now we have an account that is shut down while we await our new cards, and the fraud tech-wheenies do their thing and investigate the matter. So how much did HDI stick us for in the fraud? Hang on. $1.00

No joke. Thankfully the Discover fraud protection people caught it and we are taking action immediately. In the future, I will watch our statements even closer though to make sure that there is nothing else like this happening. Look alert people, and monitor your credit card statements closely, so that the thong kings like HDI and any other sleeze business won’t have a chance at your back pocket. Or worse.

Seriously? One dollar? 100 pennies? That's crazy! But I guess you're glad they're monitoring so closely (but could anyone really buy anything online for one dollar?)
