Good times with GANGSTA (c)RAP

So today as I was out in the yuck, I heard me some GANGSTA (c)RAP—TWICE—once in the UPS Store, which I found to be a bit odd, but then the kicker was hearing it at Goodwill, when I dropped off some stuff.  It was blasting in the Goodwill, and the gal that was responsible for this was in the room where all goods are checked in, doing “the dance” to the music. You know, pointing at anything in the room with every downbeat, spinning around, bobbing that head like she was digging for apples—it was awesome.

Sadly, I can’t tell you what song was playing, or that would just add to the fun here, but rest assured, it was “quality.” The guy that checked my stuff in seemed completely oblivious to it, which was amazing considering the volume level pumping out the jams. Of course what I don’t know is if they have a sound system “system” over there, where each employee gets dibs on the music they listen to for a certain amount of time. If that is the case, I can only imagine him throwing on some Little Jimmy Dickens or Jim Reeves to drive her insane.

Good times . . .
