Friday Foto #65

On a cold but pleasant day here in January, is a Friday Foto image of the sky that I took on our most recent camping trip (pre-winter). It was cold then too, but very pleasant, just like today. At the time this photo was taken, there was a roaring campfire going about 4 ft away from me. Today? A roaring space heater is going about 4 ft away from me.

Even though this image is not during winter, it reminds me of winter, and just looking at it makes me cold. Come on space heater, GO! GO! GO! It just has that look to it doesn’t it? Like it is bone-chilling cold out there. The moon was so hazy that night, but the clouds were giving us quite the color from the radiance of the moon. It was subtle, but it was beautiful.

So, as you go throughout your day and weekend, remember today and how pleasant it is outside. Be thankful for the sun, and though it is still quite cold in the middle of winter, rejoice that spring is just around the corner. Hang in there!

It was so good to see (and feel) the sunshine today! I took a little walk to the church mailbox and did not have to wear my coat. It's the little things . . .
