And now to conclude our little feathered friend and his quest for new housing, we see in this weeks Friday Foto that he indeed did take the plunge and check it out. He stayed in here quite a while too, enjoying the view and the shelter. Just below the birdhouse in another shot there is a buddy of his looking up at him while his head is sticking out here.
As we all know when it comes to real estate, timing is everything. You snooze, you lose when it comes to real estate acquisitions. Even temporary ones. We kept a close eye on him for a while and then sadly started to not see him around anymore. Maybe he was flipping this house, so he could move on to something bigger. Or maybe he was wanting to start a family and needed more space. Who knows . . .
For a short time though, it was a fun treat to see and watch him come and go into this house and we hope to be able to rent it out again to willing and qualified tenants (as long as they don't crap on my deck).
