Check out the blog post here for an interesting take on Guitar Center’s business model and how they are doing as a company. I was surprised that they were not doing well given how the parking lot looks every time I drive by. Maybe it’s just filled with 13 year old boys shredding all the Ozzy Osbourne songs they know to try and impress people that are in there to actually buy something only to be annoyed by the same Randy Rhoads solo 22 times in a half hour to the point of leaving the store not purchasing anything.
Not that I’ve experienced this personally or anything.
